Crude Oil / Fuel Driver & Owner Operator

Job Summary : Join our dynamic team as a Crude Oil / Fuel Driver & Owner Operator, where you will play a vital role in transporting hazardous liquids across various routes. Responsibilities

  • Safely operate tractor-trailers, including tanker, flatbed, refrigerated, and other specialized trucks, across over-the-road (OTR) routes.
  • Load and unload cargo efficiently while complying with all safety protocols and logistics cargo handling procedures.
  • Navigate using GPS systems to ensure timely deliveries while adhering to FMCSA (Federal Motor Carrier Safety Administration) regulations and DOT (Department of Transportation) standards.
  • Transport hazardous materials (hazmat) and dangerous goods following hazardous materials regulations and safety guidelines.
  • Conduct pre-trip and post-trip inspections to verify vehicle condition, including checking for leaks or damages in tanker trucks.
  • Maintain accurate documentation of deliveries, logs, and compliance records in line with FMCSA and hazardous materials regulations.
  • Communicate effectively with dispatchers regarding route changes, delivery schedules, or safety concerns.

Skills & Qualifications

  • Proven experience with commercial truck driving, including tractor-trailer operations with manual transmission.
  • Familiarity with tankers.
  • Strong knowledge of route driving using GPS navigation systems for efficient delivery planning.
  • Ability to load & unload cargo while following safety procedures.
  • Understanding of FMCSA (Federal Motor Carrier Safety Administration), DOT (Department of Transportation), and hazardous materials regulations for safe transportation of dangerous goods.
  • Experienced HAZMAT endorsement.
  • 3 years tanker experience.
  • Skilled in handling techniques necessary for truck loading/unloading tasks.
  • Knowledge of logistics cargo handling processes to optimize delivery efficiency.
