Crude Oil / Fuel Driver & Owner Operator

Responsibilities
- Safely operate tractor-trailers, including tanker, flatbed, refrigerated, and other specialized trucks, across over-the-road (OTR) routes.
- Load and unload cargo efficiently while complying with all safety protocols and logistics cargo handling procedures.
- Navigate using GPS systems to ensure timely deliveries while adhering to FMCSA (Federal Motor Carrier Safety Administration) regulations and DOT (Department of Transportation) standards.
- Transport hazardous materials (hazmat) and dangerous goods following hazardous materials regulations and safety guidelines.
- Conduct pre-trip and post-trip inspections to verify vehicle condition, including checking for leaks or damages in tanker trucks.
- Maintain accurate documentation of deliveries, logs, and compliance records in line with FMCSA and hazardous materials regulations.
- Communicate effectively with dispatchers regarding route changes, delivery schedules, or safety concerns.
Skills & Qualifications
- Proven experience with commercial truck driving, including tractor-trailer operations with manual transmission.
- Familiarity with tankers.
- Strong knowledge of route driving using GPS navigation systems for efficient delivery planning.
- Ability to load & unload cargo while following safety procedures.
- Understanding of FMCSA (Federal Motor Carrier Safety Administration), DOT (Department of Transportation), and hazardous materials regulations for safe transportation of dangerous goods.
- Experienced HAZMAT endorsement.
- 3 years tanker experience.
- Skilled in handling techniques necessary for truck loading/unloading tasks.
- Knowledge of logistics cargo handling processes to optimize delivery efficiency.
